The 3440 x 1440 resolution and accompanying 21:9 aspect ratio provides benefits for both work and play. The ASUS PA348CGV provides this resolution, with a focus on content creation and colour accuracy. The monitor has the usual smart-looking ProArt styling. Plenty of dark matte materials and a simple rectangular stand base. The top and side bezels are dual-stage with a slender panel border flush with the rest of the screen and slender hard plastic outer part. The OSD (On Screen Display) is controlled by buttons which face forwards towards the right side of the bottom bezel.

A 34″ 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD, 21:9 ultrawide) IPS-type panel is employed. A 120Hz refresh rate is supported, with Adaptive-Sync including AMD FreeSync Premium Pro with 48 – 120Hz VRR range plus LFC. Other aspects of note include a matte anti-glare screen surface, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 178°/178° viewing angles and 10-bit colour support. A flicker-free WLED backlight is used with 350 cd/m² (400 cd/m² HDR peak) typical maximum luminance and 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut. A Low Blue Light (LBL) setting is included for more relaxing viewing. The monitor includes an sRGB emulation mode and is factory calibrated (Calman Verified) with a specified DeltaE

A 2ms grey to grey response time is specified (approach with caution), with a ‘Rapid Rendering’ strobe backlight setting also included. The screen attaches centrally with a quick-release mechanism, with provision for 100 x 100mm VESA mounting. The included stand offers tilt, swivel and height (115mm or 4.53 inches) adjustment. An additional ‘Desk C-clamp’ is included in some regions to allow mounting to the edge of a desk whilst retaining the strong ergonomic flexibility. The ports mainly face downwards and include; AC power input with ‘zero watt’ switch (internal power converter), a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, DP 1.4, USB-C (90W PD, DP Alt Mode, upstream data) and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. 2 additional USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are found on the left side of the screen, as viewed from the front. PiP and PbP is supported and integrated 2 x 2W speakers are included.
